FirstHealth has approximately
2,500 email users and receives an average of 27,344 total emails weekly.
FirstHealth estimated it was losing thousands of dollars per month in
decreased productivity due to spam. Pro Exchange worked with FirstHealth
to identify key challenges pertaining to its specific health care business
processes and based on its evaluation, developed a custom-designed version
of SPAM Smacker.

Within approximately one week of implementing SPAM Smacker, FirstHealth
quickly realized that nearly 40% of all inbound emails were spam. Since
installing SPAM Smacker, 1200 fewer inbound messages enter FirstHealth’s
system each day, and require no backup, filtering, sorting, or deleting.

per year of non-productive time spent sorting through junk mail,”
said Jon Campbell, Director of Network Services at FirstHealth. “SPAM
Smacker will help substantially increase employee productivity, and we
estimate it will save our company nearly $37,430 each year.”
